About these figures
Figures are indicative examples for general education, not guarantees. They draw on the Passivhaus certification criteria published by the Passive House Institute (for example, airtightness of no more than 0.6 air changes per hour at 50 Pa) and on performance commonly reported for certified buildings. Actual results vary with climate, design, construction quality and how a home is used. For advice on a specific project, speak to a Certified Passive House Designer or Consultant.
