Educating the community about happy healthy homes

International Passivhaus Open Days (IPOD) are run collaboratively around the world with IPHA and IPHA Affiliates. In Australia, this event is run by the Australian Passivhaus Association.

This event is a very important day for the public and industry to experience and learn about Passivhaus buildings. A long-standing event, International Passivhaus Open Day has attracted a very large audience and is well recognised around the nation.

IPOD happens bi-annually, so if you’d like to be notified when the next event is held, make sure to join our mailing list and choose the ‘General News’ checkbox. But if you’d like more frequent updates on PH education, news, and advocacy, choose ‘Professional News’.

I think Passivhaus is just different from a normal house; it’s great! It’s cosy, warm and quiet, fantastic. It’s not drafty, it’s comfortable. In today’s site tour, I liked hearing what goes on in the Passivhaus to make it airtight. Passivhaus is just the way of the future.
