THRIVE2027
Build What's Next. Made for Here.
The market is moving. THRIVE 2027 is where Australia works out what to build next, and how to make it Made for Here.
Our climates
From tropical Darwin to alpine Thredbo. Design, modelling and detailing that works across Australia's climate zones, not just a cold European winter.
Our codes
How Passivhaus sits alongside the NCC, NatHERS and state programs, and where policy is heading next.
Our costs
Local supply chains, buildability and the business case for owners, developers and builders.
Four days. Learn it, debate it, see it built.
Workshops & practical training
Hands-on sessions for designers, builders and trades. The skills that close the performance gap on site.
Conference, day one
Keynotes, technical streams and project case studies from across Australia and abroad. Followed by the THRIVING & JIVING cocktail party.
THRIVING & JIVING
A cocktail party with drinks, music and the people moving Passivhaus forward in Australia. The night everyone talks about. Standalone ticket. Venue and time to be announced.
Conference, day two
Policy, finance and delivery at scale, plus the networking that keeps the sector moving.
Site tours
See Passivhaus standard buildings in person and hear from the teams who designed and built them.
The conference ticket covers both days, 13 and 14 May. The workshop day, THRIVING & JIVING and site tours are standalone tickets. Speakers and the full programme will be announced in stages.

Last year, in review.
The most practical two days I have spent on building performance. I used what I learned on site the very next week.

What we heard. What we changed.
Three takeaways from THRIVE 2026.
- Close the performance gap.
Design intent means little without on-site verification. Airtightness testing and quality assurance came up in every stream. - Finance is moving.
Lenders and investors are looking for buildings with verified performance, and Passivhaus gives them the evidence. - Retrofit is the next frontier.
Most of the buildings we will use in 2050 already exist. EnerPHit was one of the most discussed topics of the conference.
Back THRIVE before the programme drops.
Super Early Bird rewards the people who commit first. Lock in both conference days, 13 and 14 May, before speakers and sessions are announced. 50 tickets only, until 30 December 2026 or sold out.
