Introducing ‘Scaling Impact’ - Our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan
The Australian Passivhaus Association (APA) is proud to announce the official launch of its comprehensive 3-year Strategic Plan, titled 'Scaling Impact.' This transformative initiative sets an ambitious course for the organisation's growth and influence, building upon a decade of dedicated efforts by volunteers and staff to strengthen and broaden APA's mission.
The 'Scaling Impact' plan is a testament to APA's commitment to democratic principles and inclusivity. It has been meticulously developed through a collaborative process involving over 800 touchpoints, 50 meetings, 3 workshops, and 1 survey. This collective effort ensures that APA's strategic direction aligns with the needs and aspirations of its members and the broader community.
Key focal points of the Strategic Plan include mobilising and empowering members as advocates for Passivhaus, transitioning to a model that can accommodate up to 150 active contributors, and adopting a holistic project lifecycle approach to advocacy. APA is dedicated to fostering a culture of continual improvement, crafting outcome-focused policy narratives, and introducing an awards program to celebrate excellence in Passivhaus projects.
Furthermore, the plan places a strong emphasis on enhancing the value of Passivhaus certification, facilitating communication, and increasing awareness of performance-based projects. By doing so, APA aims to drive positive change in the building industry, elevating standards, and promoting sustainability.
As APA embarks on this transformative journey, it invites stakeholders, members, and the public to explore the 'Scaling Impact' Strategic Plan and share their feedback. Together, we can work tirelessly to build a brighter and healthier future through the principles of Passivhaus.
